Oh, Eiseley, I realized after I picked up the little guy that I probably should have had on gloves. I saw the mites on my arms, so hopped in the shower within minutes of returning it to it's nest. I'll be taking preventative measures re the house once the kiddos move on. I think they're some kind of sparrow--low in stature in the bird world, perhaps, but all birds are cute at this age.
