The Groton/New London advice is true: rooms there may cost less, and most rooms in Mystic may already be booked. Also, the Sea Music Symposiums will be held in Groton. If you aren't bringing your own wheels, maybe you'll share with someone who does, as I will since I plan to drive in Thursday and home Sunday night. If anyone has specific Groton/New London hotels (clean, safe, quiet) in mind, maybe that person could start another thread about that. I've never stayed overnight and would welcome suggestions.
