Fairfield Theatre Company is featuring MUST SEE Blues concerts for Blues fans in the upcoming weeks.

On Thursday 6/3 at 7:30 pm, FTC on StageOne welcomes George Porter Jr. and Runnin Pardners who continue to bring the funk and fun of the early New Orleans funk band, the Meters.

Then on Friday 6/25 at 7:30 pm, FTC welcomes Pine Top Perkins and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith. Distinguished blues pianist Pinetop Perkins is a two-time Grammy winner and a founding member of the Legendary Blues Band, which he played in from the '70s to the early '90s with drummer Willie "Big Eyes" Smith; truly a MUST SEE!

In July, FTC welcomes Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue on Friday 7/9 at 7:30 pm. Troy 'Trombone Shorty' Andrews has the raw talent of a budding jazz great and the spirit of a lead guitarist, drawing from the rich funk history of Tremé.

On Saturday 7/10 at 7:30 pm, FTC features a very special night as Third Sister performs "For Real", an insider retrospective of great music and sister-humor as the three women and life-long friends share their high-spirited and heartfelt journey juggling suburbia, sisterhood, jobs and men while pursuing their passion for singing and performing.
