Since this is the time of the month when one is coasting on fumes around here, and there is a lot of work to be done indoors and out, I need to identify all of the projects for which materials have already been purchased, or for which none are needed. I think primarily today will be about sunscreen, a wide hat and bandana down the neck, and the wheelbarrow. I can afford to fill the gas can for mowing, but I might as well finish cutting those down branches before I try mowing again. And the neighbor's chain saw should be handy this weekend.
I spoke to a friend who has the same television I just bought, this one is well-rated in Consumer Reports, and I've been keeping my eyes open for an opportunity to pick one up. And I will get rid of at least one set that is already in the house. It's helpful to purchase on time without interest. I'm tired of putting big purchases on the credit card (though I do have one card I use for just that purpose - single large things like work on the truck, that I then pay off over a few months. I find it keeps me from putting of necessary work for too long if I don't have all of the cash upfront.)
This morning when I got up it just felt like a productive weekend. I picked up all of the towels, mats, clothes, things on chairs that are too warm for now, and a couple of the comforters that live on chairs or the couch. They'll all get washed, line dried, and put away.
