A bit of semi-relevant trivia:

The same man (E. Y. "Yip" Harburg) who wrote the lyrics to "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" also wrote "Brother can you Spare a Dime", and all the lyrics in "The Wizard of Oz" and "Finian's Rainbow". (and much more that escapes my memory) He was also the first person to put a mixed race chorus line on Broadway and was blacklisted by McCarthy.

Does anyone know the parody of "Galway Bay" about a map of Ireland tattooed on a woman's back?
