In the Uk, it is considered a bit of a joke. Terry Wogan did a very good job of ridiculing this event over the years.

The voting system stinks and it's almost like asking the song writer to provide their worst song they have ever written and then get somebody to sing it.

In a weird way, coming last is an acheivement. Yes Uk won :-)
