Just got back from the boot fair. Am still full of cold. We had 2 sharp showers, and then although the sun got out some of the time, the wind got up too. I have a scuff down the side of the car from where Ian's skis slid down. Luckily, it's one among an increasing number! Shifted the chair, but not the large Polish picture (which I hate). A lot of interest. One Latvian woman really liked it, but not the fact that it was Polish! (Memories are long in that part of the world!) All left-overs are going on Tuesday to the Sue Ryder (Cheshire Homes) shop in Knottingley, which has car parking outside, so I can manhandle boxes in. Anyway, I took about £75, which is not to be sniffed at. I think if I had been able to do York Racecourse yesterday I might have done better as there would have been a lot more stalls, and many others with similar articles on. For this reason, you get a more likely buyer around there.

I am about to go light my fire again because although it's 17C in the sun, it's a cold wind, and I am chilled through!
