Some justice in that the UK song came last. But I'm astonished that there were evidently lots of people (even here) who actually liked the German entry, which I thought was only marginally better. Or perhaps the voting was skewed by the fact that Germany is probably about the only country with the cash to host next year's Eurovision.

I'd have gone for Russia myself - a sense of humour, and a singer with one hell of a good voice. I was surprised by the evident fact that it infuriated quite a lot of people. Perhaps having someone wh could actually sing was seen as offensive - which would also explain why Ireland's entry didn't do better..
