But

I've heard the German song and:

a) I like Bjork. To compare the German singer to her is so wrong!

b) The German song, and the way it's sung, sounds like a pastiche of Gabriella Cilmi stuff...not at all original: seemed as if the tune and the singing style had been cobbled together from 2-3 Cilmi "hits". And I don't like Cilmi, either...but she's got that obvious pop commercial quality.

c) Not heard the UK entry, but if it's Waterman it's probably mired *way* back in the past.
