Alas, my electric hot water heater is on the same circuit with other things. But I'm looking at the possibility of putting in one of those on-demand tanks. We were at a friend's home a while back and the water was initially too hot for the shower, you had to add a lot of cold to make it right. I told her she'd save money if she turned down the temperature on her hot water tank. Turns out it's just one of those on demand units. If she could make enough hot water for my son when he took his shower (and I told him not to leave the water running all of the time. Soap up with the water off, etc.) then it would work here. A friend of mine recommended one before, and had the specs on how they work, so I'll run it past him.

Laundry is out, but it looks like this was just the thing to attract rain, so I'm going to take it back down, then run some errands. Cards are all addressed and ready to post. I was sidetracked for a little while with a document that had to be completed and faxed to son's school, but that is now out of the way and I think we're well on our way to being set for fall classes.

Oh, I think I found the couple of things I was looking for in my on-again-off-again mailing stuff to de-clutterers program. :)
