Come and enjoy the hospitality of our Irish pub steeped in tradition. Treat yourself to an enjoyable experience by visiting The Three Jolly Pigeons Pub situated in the heart of Goldsmith Country and see the millstone from the 'busy mill', which worked until the mid-nineteenth century at the pub's entrance.
Traditional music is played here regularly during the summer months.
In fact this coming week-end (Saturday 5th June 2010 from 7.30.p.m until closing time and Sunday 6th June from 10.30.p.m until closing time)we have a fantastis Irish Traditional Music and Ballads Seisiun featuring Audrey Murphy (3 times all-ireland tin whistle and also fiddle and concert flute playe),Seamus Walshe(accordion)and Paraic Keena (Guitar and singer).Everyone is welcome to join in the seisiun.

The pub is associated with Oliver Goldsmith in that it is mentioned in the song by Tony Lumpkin in Goldsmith's famous play "She Stoops To Conquor"(1773).It is also mentioned in the song "Where The Three Counties Meet" sung by Brendan Shine (1973).
As chairman of the Goldsmith International Literary Festival Committee I would like to inform you that we are holding our 26th festival this week-end.For further details look up our website "goldsmithfestival.ie".
