Oh... chat up someone local about where and when to go for some lobster if it's in season (been years since I was on The Granite Planet).

We used to go to wharves and bring a bottle (pronunced "bah'l"; a fourty pounder of black rum). Most fishermen have a cooker on the boat and a bottle and a C will get you a feast for four... and I mean a feast. I am talkin enough crawlers to make you not pleasant company for two days, on accounta lobster farts are truly disgusting, especially if you drink that vile black rum. >;-)

Of course, your sched may not allow, but it is so much fun. Ya get to talk to some of the guys that made this country what it is... the salt of the earth... tough as nails... and every one of them a treasure in story, song or joke.

I miss getting over to The Rock.
