I'm a huge fan of Elixir Nanoweb coated Lites (.012-.053). They have a wonderful clarity and last a very long time. I can dull Martin's Lite Gauge in a day, but Elixirs last much longer. If you prefer a less bright sound, they're not for you, but I love them.

Cons: The 3rd and 4ths tend to break - I personally believe the cores are slightly too thin for the external winding - but, in spite of that, I would use no other.
