The Folk Crusaders star in the Oshima Nagisa film "Three Resurrected Drunkards" - The song plays at the start of the film and a few times during the film - i think it's a sped up version of the song (it sounds a bit like the chipmunks) though i haven't heard the original yet - though i just found it on Youtube -
the film was just re-released in America (included in a 5 dvd set by Criterion - Criterion Eclipse Series - Oshima Outlaw 60s) the film reminded me of a cross between the monkees and a hard day's night - it was entertaining enough - you'd probably love it since you like that song!
