I (as a German) can't understand how the German singer (if one should call her that) could win.

I didn't watch the competition, but heard Lena's song (German song would be wrong as the song is in English) a few times.
She can't hit the correct notes (if she does, it is probably by chance). And her voice is squawky. My toe-nails roll themselves when I hear that voice ...

So as Lena has won, obviously all the other songs must have been worse than Lena's. Which I can't believe.

So the scoring must be crap.
If I look at the results, I see the usual (music independent) pattern.
There are groups of countries which give the high scores to each other:

ex-yugoslavia
scandinavia
