The following story made it into the student newspaper while I was an undergraduate: A certain young man had enticed into his room a young lady who met his advances more than half way. At length he found that he did not have quite all the equipment he needed to proceed, so he ducked across the hall and asked his buddy for the loan of a condom. His buddy answered, loudly enough to be heard up & down the hall, "What the hell do you want a CONDOM for?'
