Noreen, I've checked at the Institute today, and there IS a piano, AND they have it tuned once a year.
General Interest.
There is something of a stir in the town today. The front page of the local evening paper carried an article about the Institute front door key being MISSING. It's about 8" long and is the original from 1908, when the place was opened. It will cost hundreds to replace, and no-one has any idea where it could have gone.
Local opinion is that it may have something to do with the Young Farmer's rave on Friday night, and that the key now lies at the bottom of the Banwy river.
As you can see, Llanfair Caereinion has it's share of crime and vandalism. We sincerely hope that it remains at this level!!!I don't think they ever locked the door, anyway!!
