Well, Linda, I have DC-area connections....

My wife was born in DC and grew up in Silver Spring. Her family still lives around there; her father, maternal grandfather, aunt, great-uncle, and others of her family are buried in Arlington. Others are in Mt. Olivet. Her family goes back a long, long way in that part of the world, back to before the Revolution. I married into that sort of thing.
