Quite recently I had a note go 'dead' on a brand new harmonica. Very frustrating as nothing I did at the time would persuade it to play again. When I got home, I opened it up and there was a hair from my moustache caught in the reed. I gently removed it, put the harmonica back together again and Presto! a perfect working harmonica.
