For those of you unfamiliar with the repertoire of this much-beloved performer (who has been singing and playing his unique style of American Traditional and composed songs for over 50 years!) you will find hearing him a moving experience-- tender singing of carefully-selected songs of the American West, labor songs, songs of Utah Phillips, Larry Penn, and Malvina Reynolds, and much more...-- and all in sincerest homage to his inspiration, the late Sam Hinton.
