Kat, some of my fondest memories of living at Mom's house when we were all there was when we sat down with a couple of decks of cards and played 500 Rummy. Mom insisted we add face value, it helped with math skills, but those were always a lot of fun. I played Gin Rummy with them also.

Doing the math, sorting out a couple of purchases for the house. It looks like guitar lessons are on hold until next month, after the trip for orientation, because he doesn't have any fingernails right now. I hope we can get the lessons under way and the room cleaned up before the trip to Arizona for school. I don't want to clean it myself, because who knows what I might throw away that he wants to keep. But I don't want that mess in there forever, either.
