Note: ARRR! vs, ARRGH! There quite a difference :)

I took French leave (no offense to Nordet!) from the YTB Night Owl at 3:30. I led the first song as people were getting settled ("Dom Pedro"). Very little maritime music was being sung this year (e.g. compared to last year, with Barry, Jerry, Charlie, Walter, etc, there)--which I appreciate-- however it is less to my taste. I ate plenty of ad-hoc bologne sandwiches and under-ripe cherries, though...some of us are ravenous dogs at that hour--thank you! And I enjoyed a moment when one of the gents from Nordet was asking what bologne was and a woman (sorry I don't know name) attempted to describe it...as if we were to be ashamed of bologne in the face of fine French taste! 3 cheers for the survivors!
