There's a state recreation area ten minutes down the road, with a little lake, and paths far enough into the woods that things are pretty quiet. If I'm lonely, it's usually when my "child bride" is at work for the day, and there are usually no more than a handful of people there on weekdays. I usually just land on a bench, or at a picnic table, and make a book go away.
