I have been thinking about buying a Taylor for a while now, haven't got as far model selection just yet, just know I want a nice big dreadnaught for finger picking in folk clubs where my cutaway just doesn't have the volume.

Incidentally, my present guitar for going to clubs is a Fylde. In my opinion, they are the best acoustic guitars on the market if you are buying new. Mind you, I haven't tried every guitar on the market! The couple of Taylors I have played with in the shop seem easier and more satisfying than an equivalent priced Martin or Guild, and seem in a different league to Takameni, Ovation or many other mainstream instruments.

I can't really justify the cost of another Fylde, so within my budget, (GB£2,000 max) any thoughts on a loud Taylor would be appreciated.
