At Home in East London, currently enjoying Ken Burns' "The Civil War" (there is some lovely music in it) Annoying my cat by not getting up at 7am on the weekend, for some reason she thinks I should!! I was thinking of a trip to Tate Britain or Kew today but TfL (Transport for London)shut down large chunks of the Tube system at weekends for "upgrading"!!! which means a simple 40 minute journey can take 2 hours or more!
