Being born in the United States is sufficient but not necessary to being a natural-born US citizen. The whole kerfuffle about "birtherism" is caused by ignorance of the law. Wrong. His mother BY LAW had to be at least 19 for Obama to be a citizen if he was born in Kenya. She was 18. Therefore if Obama was born outside the US he cannot serve as president even if he were naturalized.

With that said, until the birthers come up with something to prove Obama was born outside the US they are beating a dead horse. I only wish the horse were alive so it could kick them square in the face.
