When Syd went 'bananas' some friends of him took him to Meic, trying to revive Syd's interest in making music. They visited each other a couple of times, Syd once went to a recording session from Meic as well. One of Syd's visits to Meic was filmed by the BBC but the reels have been lost or are rotting somewhere in the huge archives of the BBC.
