This is HILARIOUS to read all these different versions. My mom and dad sang this to us, and they learned it from my grandmother. And I sing it to my kids lol! I'm pretty sure we have a huge deviation from the original.

In China once there lived a man
His name was Ching-a-ling Ching-a-ling Chan
His head was big but his body was small
And that little man couldn't talk at all

Now Miss Ki-yi was short and squat
She had money but he had not
So under her window he did go
Playing a tune on his light banjo

When Miss Ki-Yi heard his notes of love
She raised her broomstick up above
She let fall down on that little man
And that was the end of Ching-a-ling Chan.

Chorus:
Ching-a-ling, Ching-a-ling, Ching-a-ling Chan
Gallopin' Wallopin' Happy Man
Yu ko tis ki chine-y ho
Gallopin' Wallopin' Happy Man
