Mine's making more fan noise lately, but I put that down to the hot weather, so the fan's doing it's job of keeping it cool! It is well ventilated, plenty of air space around it.
I've been using Norton utilities to clean and repair: seems to work well, tho' I must remember not to let it keep deleting my cookies!
