And on the brighter side:
One of Oed's less endearing traits was his absolute refusal to poop in the litter box. When he was about 5" long I attempted to show him how to bury his waste in the box. He grew ten inches. Grabbed on to the sides of the litter and refused. He peed in the box but would not poop there. So, in winter, I spent a part of my day tracking down and picking up feces.
Those days are over.
Some of you who use the upstairs bedrooms will be relieved as well.
