It does sound like the known Hearme/ Netscape problem and MMario has given you what in fact is Hearme's suggested solution. You may however like to try a couple of ideas I had and posted to http://www.mudcat.org/thread.CFM?threadID=24726. I can't guarantee their success but one solved a problem for me and the other tested out OK. If you wish to use Netscape for Hearme, the only other info I can give you is that Dave O found that removing Netscape and then reinstalling it, cured a similar problem for him.
