PS Met a very keen Yank jazz guitarist a number of years who had a guitar made with a smallish body, a full sized fretboard - and a foldable neck. If a back-packing instrument is your desire, then this choice was very respectable as a quality tool to play, was somewhat cheaper than the big names. The downside was that string life was dramatically shorter than for conventional use. But we always change our strings weekly, don't we???
