Check out the current issue of Sing Out! An article on Paul Robeson by the grand old editor of Sing Out, Irwin Silber. Great to see him in print again. I suspect the song was in the People's Songs Bulletin.

The riot at Peekskill was over a concert by Mr. Robeson.
