Fair point - but I am talking about young players coming through the system who have not yet made the senior side. Surely playing and training with the best players will bring them along and teach them skills etc etc.

With regard to the numbers of foreign players in the teams, there is one occasion ( I think Chelsea v Arsenal ) when the only English person on the pitch was the referee !!!
