Back to the original question: no, religion does not "deny music to children" because religion is an abstraction. Religion does not 'do' anything, though a great many people are influenced by religious beliefs in their personal and public lives. Certainly, some religious folks deny music to their children (and perhaps would deny it to others if they could get away with it) but many other religionists embrace music, both in sacred and secular forms.
