I, personally, do NOT and WILL not use Norton and/or McAfee....5 paragraphs as to why...McAfee has stayed alive for years by getting it included with other things. It has a very spotty reputaqtion among those who know....especially in the alt.comp.freeware newsgroup where I have learned most of my lessons about decent and SAFE freeware.

I used AVG for years, and it seemed a decent product, but their update system and pushy attempts to sell their paid version were getting tedious. I switched to AVAST a few months ago, and it has been smooth sailing...with seamless, automatic updates.
