I am also looking for a copy of the tape that CapriUni is looking for, and I see Faye has remembered all the words to Nellie Bly!   I don't remember the Cheshire song, but I recall one about frog's legs...whistling and "if you go down to Darby, you can seeee, the same as I", a song about tall-tales...if memeory serves, it was a husband and wife team and they played at my school in the mid-late 80's, and my mom bought a copy of their tape. I'm from the Western New York area - does anyone else remember seeing them? I have been looking for a copy of the tape for years. Sorry I stumbled upon this thread so late...
