Yes, Bill. This is what I wrote back to my friend, and BCCed everyone else:

"Sorry, it is just not true. It is an interesting, well-written book by a respected India-born American journalist, Fareed Zakaria. Whoever wrote this email obviously has not read the book. It does not project a defeated America nor does it have a Muslim view.

What is wrong with this country that people are so ready to jump to conclusions?! If I read 'Mein Kampf' (which I have), does that mean that I am a closet Nazi? Wake up! This is America. We are free to read anything, in fact, we should be encouraged to read everything.
