I bought a Toyota Paseo in 92 and drove it until last year when I got a Prius. 17 years and almost 300,000 miles. For me, a midlife crisis is paying $4 a gallon for gas again. Now, I'm better prepared. So drive your gas guzzlers and impress the ladies. You won't have the money to take them anywhere but you sure got a nice car. To me, a gas economic car is the way to go. Those who think having some monster that goes from 0-60 in 3 seconds is macho and liberating are stupid fools. Wake up. The only gas-saver I won't buy is a smart car. I want something that won't send me through the windshield if I collide with some kid on his tricycle.
