Subject: Any Catters in British Columbia?
Hi, I'm just hoping that I can find help here to point a friend towards singing or musical happenings when she takes a trip there soon. My geography isn't good and I know very little about Canada except that it's a very large place *grin* Here's what she told me about her upcoming trip:

The Canada trip will be a tourist trip for the first week, which I'm doing with my cousin Mary - Banff, Jasper, train over Rocky Mountains, Vancouver City, Vancouver Island. The second week will be mostly spent with Alison (Humphries) - can't remember if you knew her before she emigrated? - on Gabriola Island (near Vancouver Island). That will certainly be a musical experience, and we're planning to do a concert together on the last night - there is a tiny theatre on the island and she has booked it for the Saturday night!   If you do know any MudCat colleagues in any of those places, it would be lovely to have their details, please, though I don't know how much time we'll have available in the evenings on the tourist trail (and we'll be dependent on taxis or public transport), if there is a chance of catching some music en route, that would be great.

Hope that someone here will have some pointers. My friend doesn't get along here much but I'll pass on any information. BTW, she has one of the best female voices I've heard & plays a good guitar too!
