A night with sails soft
Billowing crisp white aloft
Cradles my boat upon sea
Dark, stars winking at me
Every roll of the prow
Gently rocking me now
Feathery dreaming the words
Harks a sound of sea birds
Impress on the flight
Journeying after the light
Keeping time with sun
Long after day's done
Mollymauk in its season
Never minding the reason
Open wings, soar, then dive
Pelagic mystery jive,
Quilled evolving dance
Rest I now in this trance
Sleep not until dawn
Taunt the night now falln
Undressed gypsy moon
Vaulting too soon
Without the dark sky
Xemes wail and fly
Yawning I must recline
Zeal to know night now decline
