No problem, as long as the enclosure is for the right kind of drive (e.g. IDE).

You can also get an IDE-USB adaptor, cheaper but not as tidy - OK for one-off file transfers. Comes with its own power supply because USB does not provide enough current. Here in UK, it was about £15, I think (I bought one called EasyIDE)
