I agree with both artbrooks and Amos above. Largely historical people are now confusing it with what is happening in Afghanistan now. It should be remembered that the period the documents cover is 2004 to 2009. A great deal changed towards the end of that period.

All-in-all Wikileaks as a whistle-blowers web-site has now had two over-hyped exposes which were nothing of the sort.
