When I was a kid running through the sprinkler was about as low-tech and high pleasure as we could manage. My kids used to play with a wading pool and sprinklers. It's truly one of life's simple pleasures. (My pit bull also loves rolling in the sprinkler - this is a pleasure that spans species!)

My fruit stand didn't have any more boxes of peaches. I'll have to try again another day, and early in the morning. They taste wonderful, so I bought a few of the loose ones (at a much higher price, so there's no point in buying them at that price for canning.) Also found huge ripe mangoes for $1.29 each.
