Here's an e-mail I got today:

Hey Joe,
Is there something going on with Mudcat cookies???
Mine now disappears daily--or even several times daily.
This is new, although there's nothing at all that I've changed on my computer or its settings.
Used to be that my cookie NEVER disappeared. Now it's as ephemeral as a melting snowflake.
Can you shed any light? Or maybe even fix the problem for me? I'm in the mood for a kryptonite cookie!

I honestly don't know the solution. Mine crumbles on my laptop if I haven't used it for a while, but seems relatively stable on my desktop.
Can somebody shed some light on this? Is is my computer that's crumbling cookies, or is it Mudcat? How can we fix this?
