You can snark all you want, pal, but you are totally ignoring the issue of obstructionism. There are bills being thwarted by Republicans that they supported as good policy under the Bush brand. This is not standing up for ideals or principles, except the principle of wanting power above all else. It is institutionalized insanity, and your Republican bed-mates are generating it.
