BTW, I grew up here in Virginia which was home to the "Byrd Machine"... Harry Bird was as redneck as rednecks come... If he were around today he would be a rightwinged fringe loonie... He was also a DEMOCRAT...

Actually, when I listen to alot of Southern Repubs speak they are saying the same stupid things that Harry Byrd would have said some 50 years ago...
