I have been an Emmy-Lou fan for as long as I can remember.
Over here in England in those days we didn't get to hear Emmy all that much.

But I was in love with her and her music and I got hold of as much of her stuff as I could.

Later on we were lucky in that Emmylou came over to the UK quite often, so I got to see her live. Also The BBC recorded many of her shows and we still see some of the best of her.

For me Emmy has been the best female country singer of all time and her duets with many other artists to me proves how good she really is.

My own favourite is Emmylou with Willie Nelson on Gulf Coast Highway.
