All twenty-two dowels are installed in the holes I drilled last evening. The three "ladders" are assembled. It looks as if I'll need to do more sanding on the frames than I intended before I can paint. Can't get good lumber here in this mill town. I need to go buy some long screws to anchor the rungs as they are not as tight a fit as I had hoped. I'll do that when I go out (soon) to pick up some replacement 8x10 reprints for the display at the Fair.
