At our local folk festival, we did something similar maybe 15 years ago by having all the stages in a small park stop at the same time, then there were 4 Alpenhorns stationed around the park in various places, such as on top of building entrances, and they played one number for about 3 minutes...then there was an entire stage devoted to Alpenhorns for an hour...
